Ways to be involved
Everyone's journey is different
There are lots of ways to be involved. You might want to:
- attend events
- join workshops
- take part in consultations
- share your experiences
- contribute to projects
- help shape campaigns
- be a spokesperson
You can be involved as much or as little as feels right for you.
What it drives
Decisions informed by the people who know care best
Te Waka Rangatira drives VOYCE Whakarongo Mai's collective advocacy. The views, experiences, and ideas shared by care-experienced young people help guide the work we do and the changes we advocate for. By bringing young people together, Te Waka Rangatira helps ensure that decisions about care are informed by the people who know it best, those with lived experience.
