How it works
We listen, then we take it further
At VOYCE - Whakarongo Mai, we listen to what tamariki and rangatahi tell us about their experiences in care and use those insights to advocate for positive change. When young people raise similar concerns, identify barriers, or share ideas about what could be better, we help bring those messages to the people and organisations responsible for making decisions.
In practice
What it looks like
Why it matters
By working together, children and young people can help shape a care system that is safer, fairer, and better meets the needs of those with lived experience.
On the record
What we have put forward
Every one of these began with what care-experienced tamariki and rangatahi told us.
